A Simple Satisfactory System for Storing Temp Probes has Here To Fore eluded Me❓ This Very Day via Amazon a 2 Pack of Best Buddy Wind Cable Spools was Delivered along with a Single RECOIL AutomaticCord Winder (Note: Both Brands other than Color appear to be Identical!) SO I SAID TO MYSELF SELF! Get Off Your Dead A---, Get that "New" DigiQ DX-2 6' Pit Probe Out of the Box and Try It Out! So I Did❓ The Pics will Hopefully will be Self Explanatory! I probably take the Pit Probe Off
the Best Buddy and Adjust the Tension Up a Bit❓ At this Point I would rate Best Buddy +8.5, Little Bob +7.5 (6 FireBoard Probes Can be Stored in 6 Little Bob's in the Original FB Box 👍👍👍), the dotz +6.5 Works but is Cumbersom IMHOP! I won't bore you with the Plethora of Fishing Line and Leader Storage Devices I have tried❓ If Anyone Has Something Better I Would be Willing to Take a Look! Max Good, I am not trying for Your Job!

I like the idea of the Best Buddy/Recoil spools. I don't consider myself a neat freak, but the mere sight of a bunch of tangled probe wires makes me want to throw the whole mess into a blazing hot firebox.

to store my Fireboard probes. I had one of those spring winding cases for a set of earphones many years ago. They work fine until the spring dies (which mine did after about 6 months with every day use).
